MEET BRIAN

Brian is well-known as the host of HGTV's Backyard Builds, an award-nominated television program. Since airing in 2016, the show follows Brian and his co-host Sarah Keenleyside in creating innovative outdoor spaces for family homes. The series, which can be found on television and streaming platforms worldwide, fuses traditional interior renovations with unconventional exterior designs. In addition to Backyard Builds, Brian is featured on HGTV's Home To Win and Family Home Overhaul. Brian has also shared his design expertise on many lifestyle shows, making appearances as an expert guest on Citylife, Global’s The Morning Show and Breakfast Television.

Family Home Overhaul is a Canadian home renovation reality series, which premiered September 27, 2020 on HGTV Canada. Described by some critics as a Canadian version of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,[1] the series features various HGTV designers working with deserving families who have been nominated by their communities to renovate their homes.

The series is hosted by Cheryl Hickey, with participating designers Scott McGillivray, Tiffany Pratt, Sebastian ClovisKortney Wilson, Dave Wilson, Brian McCourt, Mia Parres, Kate Campbell, Dave Coleman, Sarah Keenleyside, Joey Fletcher, Dave Kenney, Samantha Pynn and Tommy Smythe.

Family Home Overhaul: HGTV's top contractors and designers team up to help families in need of home renovations, as nominated by their community.

Home To Win is HGTV's powerhouse reality series that offers Canadian viewers the opportunity to compete for the biggest prize in Canadian television history – their very own dream home!
